The Bizarre Bazaar LLC is proud to sponsor a vinyl record archive show on local AM radio station 1360 KHNC every Saturday and Sunday evening at 8PM. So tune in and get away from the same old Top 20 hits of the past played over and over again. Because we have unlimited access to the Bizarre Bazaar's vast inventory of rare vinyl records, we'll be crate digging and picking out some rare vintage vinyl to play on the show. We mostly focus on lost tracks and forgotten bands from the 1920s to the 1970s. You'll be surprised how much great music was never played on the airwaves because most radio stations merely focused on caller requests and played the top 20 over and over again.
For extra fun we'll occasionally have a "shellac hour" instead of a "vinyl hour" where we'll be playing forgotten 78rpm tunes from 1898 to about 1950 (when 33-1/3rpm vinyl finally became the standard). You might be surprised that the music your great grandparents used to listen to wasn't all slow, sleepy stuff but rather upbeat, cut-a-rug kind of stuff. So tune in and have some fun reliving the 20s or 30s and have some fun!
